In collaboration with Dan Brown and the Reconnect Regal Theatre, this project offers young people the opportunity to explore creative and collaborative approaches to learning. Working closely with primary school classes, we co-create a series of short films that respond to issues that matter most to them, whether reflecting on their local environment, imagining future opportunities or considering how we care for ourselves and each other. Throughout the process, participants take an active role in filming, sharing ideas and shaping the creative direction of their work. The project culminates in public screenings presented to the whole school community, ensuring that the young people’s voices and perspectives are celebrated on a wider scale. Rooted in their interests and priorities, this project positions participants not only as learners but as creators and storytellers, shaping work that speaks authentically to their lived experiences and concerns.
